Fréjus

Roman town at the edge of the Mediterranean Sea

Fréjus, a harbour from Antiquity where the Romans have left various buildings (arenas, theatre, aqueduct), has also known a wealthy period during the Middle Ages. This period has left beautiful Episcopal monuments, which can be found in the heart of town. Today, the town is mainly popular for its long, fine sand beach and also for the nature base François Léotard; a leisure area by the sea.

Visit the best spots of the Var and the French Riviera

La Baume - La Palmeraie is ideally located to explore the Var, whether you choose to visit the famous towns of the French Riviera, like Saint-Tropez, Cannes or Saint-Raphaël, or the sloping hinterland of the Var, boasting lovely medieval towns like Tourtour and Fayence. Also visit these villages during market days and enjoy the great specialities from the Provence.
